Actress Lee Min Jung Considering Drama Comeback

Actress Lee Min Jung’s representative speaks up about her plans to make a drama comeback.

According to her agency MS Team Entertainment, Lee Min Jung is currently reviewing the script for the new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama “Goodbye, My Beloved One” (working title). The agency asserted, “Lee Min Jung is merely reviewing the script for now and she’s not ready to confirm yes or no on the role.”

Another media outlet had already reported that Lee Min Jung confirmed her appearance in the drama. According to the report, Lee Min Jung will play the role of a married woman named Shin Dae Hye. The character is the epitome of the “perfect daughter-in-law.”

Shin Dae Hye is an immaculate homemaker who takes wonderful care of her father-in-law. She is frugal with the money her husband brings home. Even if she wears a cheap outfit, she looks glorious in it. She dyes her hair at home to save money, yet she looks like she walked right out the salon. She’s young, slim, chic, and beautiful. She’s also compassionate and cries easily.

If she does indeed take on this new role, it will mark her comeback in two years since her role in the 2014 MBC drama “Cunning Single Lady.”

“Goodbye, My Beloved One” is based on the original Japanese novel “Seven Days of Director Tsubaki Yamaguchi.” It’s a comedy that explores the question, “What if you’re able to come back to life from the dead for a moment?” The drama “Goodbye, My Beloved One” is slated to air after “Remember” wraps up its run.
