MONSTA X Named as Girl Scouts' New Ambassadors

On December 11, Girl Scouts Korea announced that MONSTA X is their new ambassador.

They stated, “We chose MONSTA X as ambassadors due to their diverse talents and charms. Their active and healthy persona fits Girl Scouts’ image.” As ambassadors for Girl Scouts, the seven-member group will be influential artists to young girls.

The very first Girl Scouts ambassador was Rain. Following him, Epik High was next. The third artist was Girls’ Generation. Their labelmate f(x) followed suit. Next, CNBLUE was selected. Finally, the sixth group was B1A4.

As rookies, it is quite impressive that MONSTA X was selected as the next ambassador. The group will serve as ambassadors until 2017 and will be participating in various activities designed to help strengthen and develop young girls’ potentials.

MONSTA X’s appointment ceremony will take place on December 16 at 4 p.m. KST. Around 120 individuals are expected to be present at the ceremony.
