BTOB’s Yook Sungjae Volunteers With Fans
BTOB’s Yook Sungjae who also models for Black Yak apparel participated in the “Black Yak Shares Briquettes” event on December 11 in Guryong Village of Gangnam in Seoul.
With the profit from the sales of Black Yak’s Ice Edge Down jackets totaling about 20 million won (approximately $17,000), Yook Sungjae and 50 Black Yak employees and fans delivered about 2,600 briquettes out of total of 40,000 briquettes purchased. There were also about 30 fans present who were selected from Black Yak’s Facebook and Instagram events.
Even in cold weather, Yook Sungjae didn’t forget to smile and bring positive energy to those working alongside him. He also remembered to greet each and every fan and village resident sharing the warmth the event was meant to bring.
One of the fans commented, “I came to help out those who need help during this time of the year and to do something meaningful. It was fun to volunteer with Yook Sungjae who wholeheartedly gave up his time to help out.”
Many netizens who saw Yook Sungjae’s photos at the village volunteering complimented him on his efforts to help out alongside his fans.
