Verbal Jint Reveals the Story Behind His Featuring Role on Taeyeon's Song "I"

Rapper Verbal Jint has shared the story of how he came to feature on Girls’ Generation member Taeyeon‘s solo debut track “I.”

Verbal Jint participated in a press conference on December 12 that took place before his agency Brand New Music‘s year-end concert “Brand New Year 2015” at KBS Sports World. Verbal Jint took to the stage at the show along with his label mates San E, Bumkey, and more.

During the event, Verbal Jint was asked about his featuring role on Taeyeon’s hit debut track. “I didn’t know Taeyeon personally at all,” he says, “but I was contacted and asked to feature on the song. My favorite member of Girls’ Generation was Taeyeon, and I heard that it was her first solo album. I knew it would be a very important song, but since I was asked, I was happy to work together with her.”

Verbal Jint also recently released a single featuring Taeyeon entitled “If the World Was Perfect.”
