FNC Entertainment Warns Against Social Media Imposters Using Yoo Jae Suk's Name
On December 12, a seemingly legitimate Facebook account under Yoo Jae Suk‘s name started gaining attention online, with many fans welcoming the star to social media and spreading the exciting news.
Much to the disappointment of fans, it has now been revealed that the account is run by an imposter, not the beloved MC himself.
Representing Yoo Jae Suk, FNC Entertainment warned against the fake account through its official Facebook page on December 13. The agency made clear that Yoo Jae Suk does not manage a Facebook account on his own and his news are officially relayed through FNC Entertainment’s Facebook account — all other accounts are fake.
Recently, fake social media accounts have been trending among cybercriminals, as Yoo Jae Suk is not the first celebrity to suffer from this phenomenon. It appears that fake celebrity accounts have been turned into an illegal business with profiles being sold for profit.
