Lee Hyun Woo and VIXX’s Hongbin Are as Different as Night and Day in “Moorim School”

A new still cut from the upcoming KBS2 drama “Moorim School” has been released. The picture features Lee Hyun Woo and VIXX’s Hongbin, who are playing the male leads Yoon Shi Woo and Wang Chi Ang respectively.

Yoon Shi Woo is said to be an idol whose career takes a downward turn and is forced to attend the Moorim School. Wang Chi Ang is a troublemaking student who got into the prestigious school due to his chaebol father’s influence.

From the start, there is conflict between the prickly, arrogant Yoon Shi Woo and the bright, cheerful Wang Chi Ang. Raised in very different environments with very different personalities, they start off on bad terms from their first meeting.

The production staff said, “Lee Hyun Woo and Hongbin are the same age and very friendly with one another to the point where Lee Hyun Woo would give Hongbin shoulder massages during their downtime. However, their characters are antagonistic towards each other from their first meeting. Please anticipate the broadcast to see if their characters will develop into friends, as well as the other things that will be happening at the Moorim School.”

“Moorim School” is about a school that focuses on the principles of loyalty, honesty, sacrifice, and communication rather than the traditional route of grades and specs. The drama has also cast a number of non-Korean actors and is billing itself as a “global youth action drama.”

It will air after the end of “Oh My Venus” on January 11, 2016 at 10 p.m KST. Watch the preview below:
