WINNER Drops Exciting Teaser for "New Release"

Is it finally time for WINNER‘s comeback?

On December 14, YG Entertainment dropped an unexpected teaser photo for a “new release” from WINNER. According to the teaser photo, the group will be releasing something new early next year on January 11.

Fans of WINNER have expressed their excitement over the news, as they have gone through an emotional rollercoaster over the past few months. While many YG artists, including BIGBANG and PSY, have made their comebacks — not to mention widely promoted debut of iKON — the agency has given fairly little attention to WINNER.

This has caused frustration among the group’s fans, who have been patiently waiting for WINNER’s comeback but found themselves neglected over and over again. This situation escalated in October, when WINNER’s fanclub INNER CIRCLE confronted YG Entertainment regarding the “unfair treatment” by boycotting the release of WINNER’s new concert DVD.
