Girls' Generation Is the Only Korean Group Invited to China's JSTV Lunar New Year Gala

Veteran girl group Girls’ Generation will be the only Korean group to grace the stage of Chinese broadcaster JiangsuTV‘s Lunar New Year Gala this year.

The group’s agency, SM Entertainment, announced their confirmed participation in the Lunar New Year special on January 10.  They will be joined by some of China’s hottest stars of 2015 for the special on February 8 at 7:30 p.m. KST. Girls’ Generation is expected to perform their recent hit “Lionheart,” as well as old favorites such as “Gee.”

Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation is keeping busy with their concert tour, and will be holding their next stop in Bangkok, Thailand on January 30 and 31.
