Lee Seung Gi Confirms Military Enlistment in February

Actor and singer Lee Seung Gi will be enlisting in the military in the beginning of February.

According to his agency Hook Entertainment on January 21, Lee Seung Gi will be entering the army as an active duty soldier on February 1.

After getting his enlistment notice, Lee Seung Gi stated, “I will come back as a real man to thank all the love and support I got for all these years.”

The star has a new song release ahead of his enlistment, titled “I’m Going to the Military (tentative title),” which will be coming out on January 21 at noon.

Lee Seung Gi continued, “I was preparing myself for enlistment since I don’t know when the notice will come out. Since I can’t meet each and every person, I expressed my apology in the song. This song is my story, but I hope it will be relatable to anyone planning to enter the military soon and their families.”
