Girl Group Member Revealed to Be Contestant on “King of Mask Singer”

A member of a popular girl group wows with her vocal skills on the latest episode of “King of Mask Singer”!

On January 24’s episode, the contestant Space Beauty Maetel goes up against Searching for Mom Cheol Yi. The pair perform Travel Sketch’s “Destiny” as a beautiful duet during the first round.

As the duo are singing, BTOB’s Yook Sungjae first guesses that Space Beauty Maetel might be A Pink’s Namjoo, but Kim Gura tells him she’s already appeared on the show.

After the performance, Yook Sungjae says, “I’m the MC of a music show, so I see a lot of singers. Considering the way she gestures with her hands as she sings, she must be Red Velvet’s Wendy.”

Yook Sungjae is then jokingly accused of trying to promote “We Got Married,” which he appears on with Wendy’s fellow member Joy.

Space Beauty Maetel loses the round, and performs the song “Late Regret” by Bobo as she prepares to remove her mask. When she does, she reveals that she is indeed Wendy!
