'Moorim School' to Resume Filming, Reportedly Ending Early

KBS and drama production company JS Pictures have reportedly reached an agreement regarding the production of KBS2TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Moorim School.”

The two parties were previously revealed to be in a conflict over funding and the production schedule. However, both parties soon denied such claims.

It is now being reported that the drama will indeed end after 16 episodes, rather than the initially planned 20. This agreement was reportedly reached during a meeting between KBS and JS Pictures held on January 25. Both parties have yet to release an official statement on the matter.

“The filming for ‘Moorim School’ — which was halted last week — will resume on January 27. Next up are episodes 12 and 13. Now that the drama will end early, the actors are rather worried about possible changes in the development of the drama,” a drama representative commented to local news outlet Star News on January 26.

Meanwhile, the drama has been suffering from poor viewer ratings and negative reviews, which is said to have triggered the conflict between KBS and JS Pictures.

“Moorim School” is expected to end in early March after 16 episodes.
