Park Hae Jin Comments on His Plans for Marriage
The star of tvN’s latest drama “Cheese in the Trap” Park Hae Jin recently divulged his thoughts on and plans for marriage.
Recently, MBN had the opportunity to interview the star in a cafe in Gangnam. There, Park Hae Jin spoke on his previous comments where he had expressed the wish to marry at 35.
“I’m turning 35 in 2017. That goal [to get married then] already seems impossible,” he chuckled. “I’ve said in a lot of interviews that I want to get married at 35. However, isn’t it impossible for someone who is at 35’s door to get married right away? Of course, [there’s always the possibility that] tomorrow someone could appear and we could get married, but right now I’m not thinking about marriage.”
“Actually, the reason that I decided on 35 was because [I thought] ‘for an actor to get married at 35, isn’t that a bit early?’ For actors, [we] really dislike that standard, and [others] having that prejudice [against us]. Actually, if we talk about [getting married at] 35, it’s actually a bit late for men. Me, because I like kids and because I always thought I wanted to get married quickly, I decided to ‘nominate’ the age of 35 to get married at,” he explained.
“Marriage is not something that I can do just because I want to do it. I didn’t know that I would reach 35 so quickly,” he said with a burst of laughter.
Currently, Park Hae Jin is starring in the role of Yu Jeong in the drama “Cheese in the Trap” alongside Kim Go Eun and Seo Kang Joon.
