Actor Lee Jong Hyuk’s Son Lee Taksu to Be a Variety Show Star
On January 29, a media representative announced that actor Lee Jong Hyuk’s son Lee Taksu will appear on Tooniverse’s new variety show for youngsters “Boys & Girls.” He confirmed that Lee Taksu met with the team accompanied by his parents and decided to appear as a regular cast member on the show.
CJ E&M confirmed saying, “It is true Taksu will be appearing on the show. Other cast members have not been determined yet.”
“Boys & Girls” will consist of six teenage students and they will talk about their lifestyles as they share issues they face. It is an informational variety show for teens and there will be four pilot episodes in the works.
Lee Taksu is currently a junior high student and has made several appearances back in 2013 with his younger brother Junsu on MBC’s variety show “Dad! Where Are We Going?” Unlike playful Junsu, Taksu showed a more mature side along with his good looks.
Recently, Lee Jong Hyuk mentioned on a radio program that Taksu hopes to become an idol star and an actor.
The first episode of Tooniverse’s variety show “Boys & Girls” will air on February 23 at 8 p.m. KST.
