Winner Thanks Artists Who Covered Their Title Tracks During Live Broadcast

On the evening of January 31, Winner counted down to the release of their new mini album with fans through a live broadcast entitled “Exit Awards.”

During the show, the guys thank the artists who participated in their pre-release cover project by recording a short cover of one of their title tracks, “Baby Baby” or “Sentimental.” These artists included Lee Hi, BIGBANG’s Taeyang and G-Dragon, Dean, Zion.T, Akdong Musician, Katie Kim, and Epik High.

Member Kang Seungyoon says, “I worried that our own songs would get buried because the covers are so good.” He also adds, “Nam Taehyun edited the music and videos.”

The members then give the “Best Cover Award” to all of the artists to thank them for taking part in their cover project. Lee Seunghoon also makes everyone laugh by doing an impression of Zion.T.

Nam Taehyun thanks the artists and says, “It was such an honor, and it helped promote the album.”

Winner’s new mini album “Exit: E” was dropped on February 1 at midnight KST, as well as music videos for their title tracks “Baby Baby” and “Sentimental” and Nam Taehyun’s solo song “I’m Young.”
