Park Myung Soo Helps Out With Chores During Lunar New Year Holidays

Comedian Park Myung Soo revealed recently that he does all the dishes alone during the holiday season.

On February 6, he held a special Lunar New Year broadcast on KBS cool FM’s “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show.” While discussing the workload of daughters-in-law during the holiday season (traditionally, families were expected to go to the eldest son’s house to celebrate the holiday), he said, “Before I got married, I never did the dishes. But after I got married, my mother makes me do it.”

He went on, “When I did the dishes, I realized that the women enjoyed being able to take a break. I think the stereotype of men resting while women work is going away. Men need to step it up when it comes to work.”
