EXID and TWICE Compete for Gold in Female Wrestling Match on "2016 Idol Star Athletics Championships”
On February 10 broadcast of MBC’s “2016 Idol Star Athletics Championships,” idol stars competed fiercely for the win in various sports categories. The program was emceed by entertainer Jun Hyun Moo, Kwanghee, singers Leeteuk, Jo Kwon, and Girls’ Day’s Hyeri.

In the female wrestling competition, girl groups TWICE and EXID faced each other. They reached the finals after beating last year’s champion 9MUSES and last year’s second place winner A Pink.
But EXID’s team including Solji were formidable opponents. They beat TWICE’s Nayeon and Jungyeon easily leading EXID to victory. TWICE placed second place.
“2016 Idol Star Athletics Championships” is a Lunar New Year special program which aired in two parts on February 9 and 10.
