iKON Test Their Confession Skills on Dynamic Duo on “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook”

Rookie idol group iKON and veteran hip-hop act Dynamic Duo recently made an appearance on “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.”

Although this was iKON’s first “Sketchbook” appearance, they showcased an excellent performance and stole the hearts of the audience. Dynamic Duo also got a great reception from the audience when they took the stage.

Yoo Hee Yeol introduced Dynamic Duo as the “masters of dating,” while he introduced iKON as newbies in romance. “Just by looking at the lyrics, the two teams are vastly different,” he said. Dynamic Duo’s Choiza begged to differ, joking, “I think both our teams have very pure hearts.”

The show continued in this vein, with Yoo Hee Yeol asking about the various methods of confession employed by people in their 20s to their 40s. “When I went to clubs in the past, I always paid for the drinks,” Choiza said. Gaeko added jokingly, “Men like me have to work really hard to keep a girl’s attention. I was tired all the time.”

iKON’s Bobby, who grew up in the United States, talked about the “American” way of asking someone out. “You just go up directly to them and say, ‘Do you want to go out to eat with me?’,” he shared.

Then Yoo Hee Yeol asked the iKON members to pick a Dynamic Duo member to confess to. Each member had their own style of confessing, but Yoo Hee Yeol and Dynamic Duo couldn’t stop laughing during each scene.

The iKON members also talked about their agency’s dating ban. Dynamic Duo concluded the night with some advice for the young idols, saying, “You have to love and get hurt to make good music. The hurt you feel when you’re rejected is fleeting, but the regret of never confessing lasts forever. Be brave and confess.”
