Yoo Ji Tae in Talks to Star in tvN Remake of “The Good Wife” Alongside Jeon Do Yeon

Actor Yoo Ji Tae’s agency Namoo Actors announced on February 18 that he is currently in talks to star in tvN’s remake of “The Good Wife.”

Agency representative commented, “Yoo Ji Tae has been approached to portray the husband of the lead female role, but nothing has been confirmed yet.”

“The Good Wife” is an American television series by CBS and its Korean remake will air on tvN.

He would play the character Lee Tae Joon, a focused and heartless prosecutor who goes after all types of criminals. However, he himself lands in prison because of a very public political corruption scandal. He tries hard to hold his family together and get back on his feet again.

After her husband lands in prison, Kim Hye Kyung assumes responsibility for her family. She also resumes her career as a defense attorney taking charge of her family’s destiny. Actress Jeon Do Yeon is currently considering the role of Kim Hye Kyung drawing attention.

“The Good Wife” will be directed by Producer Lee Jung Hyo of JTBC’s “Heartless City,” tvN’s “A Witch’s Romance,” and On Style’s “My First Time” (working title). Writer Han Sang Oon of KBS 2TV’s “Spy” will be responsible for the script.
