Taeyeon Opens Up About Her Fear of Cameras on "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook"

On the February 20, Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon graces the “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” stage and performs her debut solo songs “I,” “Rain,” and “Gemini.”

During the subsequent interview segment, Taeyeon shares candidly about her stage fright.

“This is your first time on [this show] as a solo artist and not as part of Girls’ Generation subunit TaeTiSeo,” Yoo Hee Yeol says.

Taeyeon replies openly, “I’m very nervous. Because everyone is quietly all looking at me, it’s very overwhelming and nerve-racking.”

“Do you have broadcast stage fright by any chance?” Yoo Hee Yeol asks.

“Yes, I am scared of cameras. I don’t know why I’m this way either, but if there’s a camera I just get nervous and forget what I was going to say and can’t think,” Taeyeon shares.
