Jo Kwon Names the Girl Group Members He’d Like to Duet With

2AM’s Jo Kwon, who recently came out with a solo release, has revealed the various female partners with whom he would like to duet.

“In my agency, JYP Entertainment, I would like to duet with Baek Ah Yeon or Baek Ye Rin,” he shared. “Both of them came out with solo albums recently, and I think they’re amazing for being able to express their feelings through music. If there is ever an opportunity, I would like to work with them.”

“From another agency, I would like to work with Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon,” he continued. “We’re the same age and I think we have a similar ‘color’ to our voices. In the past when Sunye was promoting with the Wonder Girls, I ran into Girls’ Generation a lot. They seemed to like it when I was being funny and acting crazy, though.”

Jo Kwon also talked about his relationship with EXO’s Suho, who starred in his music video. “Originally I was friendly with D.O,” he said. “When I was doing the musical ‘Priscilla,’ D.O and Suho both came to see the performance. I’ve been in contact with them ever since. When I thought about the ‘image’ for my music video, I thought Suho would be a good fit.”

Jo Kwon made his solo comeback for the first time in more than three years with “Crosswalk” on February 15.
