"Produce 101" Trainee Jeon Somi's Father Cameos in "Descendants of the Sun"
“Produce 101” contestant Jun Somi isn’t the only one in her family gaining the attention of the Korean public – her dad is, too!
On February 26, a representative from an acting agency that deals with foreigners told Star News, “During the second episode of ‘Descendants of the Sun,’ the actor who played the UN soldier that Yoo Shi Jin (Song Joong Ki) fights with in Afghanistan is Matthew Douma, Jun Somi’s father.”
The representative went on to say that Matthew Douma is already in a photo-related business, but that he sometimes appears in dramas whenever a part he’s interested in comes up.
Meanwhile, Jun Somi recently ranked at No. 2 on the girl group survival show “Produce 101.”
