Joy Unexpectedly Talks to Her Virtual Mother-In-Law for the First Time

Though she may have been unprepared for the moment, Joy speaks to her mother-in-law for the first time on “We Got Married.”

On the episode of MBC’s “We Got Married” aired on February 27, Joy and Yook Sungjae are ordered to make steamed crab. However, they are unsure of the recipe, and Yook Sungjae ends up calling his mother.

“I wanted to call her in a sweet voice after mentally preparing myself, but Yook Sungjae called because of the crab dish,” Joy says. “I ended up looking like a daughter-in-law who can’t even make steamed crab.”

Despite her frustration, Joy immediately softens up and asks, “Can I call you my mother-in-law?”
