Cast of “2 Days, 1 Night” Surprised by Chinese Fans’ Turnout at the Airport

The cast of the KBS variety program “2 Days, 1 Night” was pleasantly surprised for a change by the warm welcome that their fans gave them when they arrived in China for a filming.

On the February 28 broadcast, the cast heads to Harbin, a city in the north of China that is known for its annual Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival. This is “2 Days, 1 Night’s” first international trip, as the show is known for showcasing beautiful locations within South Korea.

The members, dressed in bizarre fur coats to prepare for the cold weather awaiting them in Harbin, joked among themselves before they landed in Harbin. “Do you think they watch ‘2 Days, 1 Night’ in China?” they said, wondering if they had any Chinese fans before giving up on the idea.

But it turned out to be a reality, as many fans were waiting for them at the airport even though it was late at night. In particular, longtime member Kim Jong Min proved to be highly popular among fans.
