Lee Seo Jin and Uee Talk About Their Age Gap as They Act Together on “Marriage Contract”
Actors Lee Seo Jin and After School’s Uee attended a press conference held on March 3 for MBC’s new weekend drama “Marriage Contract.”
In the drama, Lee Seo Jin will act alongside Uee, who is 17 years younger than him, in a romantic relationship. He commented, “Age is not an issue. Uee is young, but she works hard on her acting skills. We’re learning to work well together as a pair.”
Uee added, “The work atmosphere is great on the set. I ask the director lots questions. Seo Jin also helps me out a lot. I’m very satisfied with how things are on the set.”
“Marriage Contract” is a melodrama that tells the story of a man who believes life’s only value is money. He meets a woman who’s on the edge of her life. After a dramatic first meeting, they find and learn the true meaning of love. It is a drama that will teach the true meaning of life and love for a contemporary generation who cries out in fear, sense of loss, and unhappiness even in the midst of apparent material prosperity.
Lee Seo Jin will portray Han Ji Hoon, a wealthy and arrogant man. Uee will portray Kang Hye Soo who is a struggling single mom working as an assistant to the catering chef.
The drama will broadcast its first episode on Saturday, March 5, at 10 p.m. KST.
