Ryu Jun Yeol Learns the Meaning of YOLO on "Youth Over Flowers”

Actor Ryu Jun Yeol picks up a life lesson in the middle of a desert.

On March 4 episode of tvN’s “Youth Over Flowers” in Africa, actors Ahn Jae Hong, Ryu Jun Yeol, Ko Kyung Pyo, and Park Bo Gum are shown visiting a major resort city Swakopmund in Namibia.

On their way to Swakopmund, the four men run into a female foreigner taking a break in her recreational vehicle. Ryu Jun Yeol approaches her and speaks to her in fluent English. It turns out she’s traveling through Africa all by herself.

Ryu Jun Yeol later tells the “Youth Over Flowers” team that he told her he’s quite impressed that she’s traveling all alone. She replied, “YOLO.” It means, “You only live once.” Ryu Jun Yeol humbly told the crew members that he learned something new that day.
