Jung Joon Ha Revealed to Have Auditioned for 'Show Me the Money 5'

Infinite Challenge” star Jung Joon Ha will be going against other aspiring rappers on the next season of Mnet‘s “Show Me the Money.”

This doesn’t come as a complete surprise as in a recent “Infinite Challenge” episode, Jung Joon Ha was given the mission of applying for “Show Me the Money.” To prepare for the challenge, he even put on a hilarious rap performance with iKON‘s Bobby — the winner of “Show Me the Money 3” — during the popular “Meet My Ugly Friend” special.

Mnet’s representative explained that as of now, they can’t share any details about Jung Joon Ha’s audition. “Not only do we have to consider our own production conditions, but also those of ‘Infinite Challenge.’ As such, it’s difficult for us to reveal any information.”

Bigger and more international than ever, the open recruitment for “Show Me the Money 5” ended on March 6 at noon KST. The first round of domestic auditions will be held on March 12 and 13 at Olympic Park SK Handball Stadium in Seoul, and the overseas auditions are set to be held on March 19 at KorovaDTLA in Los Angeles. For their first elimination challenge, the rappers will be asked to demonstrate their skills by performing original rap lyrics without background music.

“Show Me the Money 5” is expected to premiere in May.
