Jessi to Make a Comeback With R&B Ballad Track

Female rapper Jessi, who rose to fame after her appearance on the first season of Mnet’s “Unpretty Rapstar,” is making a comeback with a totally different concept!

Her last solo track, “Ssenunni,” channeled the artist’s “tough girl” image, but her latest song is said to be a ballad featuring emotional vocals instead of rapping. The lyrics will represent the feeling of being overwhelmed in love.

“This track will be an R&B ballad rather than hip hop,” a representative said.

In January, Jessi made a comeback with her group Lucky J for the first time in over a year with the single “No Love,” a medium tempo pop track.
