“Running Man” PD Shares Behind-The-Scenes Stories from Dubai Episode
The PD of the hit SBS variety show “Running Man” has revealed the behind-the-scenes stories of their recent filming in Dubai.
In an interview held on March 7, PD Lim Hyung Taek shared about the ziplining mission shown on the recent episode, saying, “Actually, during the filming, it took a really long time. Yoo Jae Suk really debated about it and went back and forth a hundred times about whether to do it or not.
For the sake of the broadcast, a lot of it was edited out, but in reality, it took him an incredibly long time to decide to do it. He was so scared, he was barely able to do it at all.”
Speaking about the successful sky diving by Kim Jong Kook, Jung Il Woo, and Lee Da Hae, he shared, “Those three people really wanted to do it and so they did it and sure enough, like their personality, they were able to accomplish it well. When they returned back on the ground, they said it was something that you have to try at least once while you’re alive. They liked it that much.”
He continued, “This special in Dubai, as you’ve seen from the episode already, is very much a free spirited trip. We didn’t try to limit the members. The concept of the episode was to show them on a vacation. And so, although it is a desert, we went to a place where it was possible to go camping. Actually, Dubai is a place that is new to many people.
Although we may talk about Dubai a lot, not many have been there. And so I think this will be a special in which we can show those sides of Dubai to the viewers.”
