Watch: K-Pop Pedia Describes 4 Types of Korean Rappers

Amid the huge surge in popularity of rappers in the Korean music industry right now, K-Pop Pedia has created a video that outlines what they call the “4 Exact Types of Korean Rappers.”

Their first type is “The Love Addicted,” who rap with romantic melodies and lyrics, and use their verses “like Cupid’s arrows.” K-Pop Pedia names San E and Block B’s Park Kyung and Zico as members of this group.

Next up are the “DISSrespectful Rappers,” who spit flames as they rap and aim to destroy everyone in their path. Swings, Mad Clown, Vasco, Jessi, and Fiestar’s Yezi all make the list for this type.

The third type of Korean rappers that K-Pop Pedia describes are the “Brainy Rappers” with “top-notch” educational backgrounds who impress with their smart rhymes and word play. Verbal Jint, Epik High’s Tablo, and Beenzino are all considered to be one of these “professors of rap school.”

Lastly, the “Natural Born Swaggers” round off the list, with K-Pop Pedia calling them “the best type of rapper any rapper can be.” According to K-Pop Pedia, Korea’s only got one of those, and she’s none other than Yoon Mi Rae.
