ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo Amazes Netizens With His Intellectual Prowess on "1 vs. 100"

On March 8, origami master Kim Young Man faced off with 100 participants on KBS 2TV’s quiz program, “1 vs. 100.”

Members Cha Eun Woo, Moon Bin, and MJ of rookie boy idol group ASTRO also guested on this broadcast as “celebrity quiz participants.” Cha Eun Woo alone managed to pass round seven, and along with a non-celebrity, became the final two contestants facing off against Kim Young Man.

After this particular broadcast aired, Cha Eun Woo is receiving a lot of love and interest from the netizens for his handsome looks and intellectual charms.

During ASTRO’s pre-debut promotions, Cha Eun Woo gained much attention for his fair skin, small face, tall height, and impressive looks. After his appearances on KBS 1TV‘s “Challenge! Golden Bell,” and KBS 2TV’s “1 vs. 100,” many are calling him “mother’s friend’s son” (a term to describe someone who’s an ideal son).

Cha Eun Woo even managed to catch the eye of Chinese media contents group, Huace Group, and received a casting call from them. Many people are showing an unusual amount of interest in his future promotions overseas. 

ASTRO is Fantagio Entertainment’s new six-membered boy group that recently debuted after seven years of training. It consists of members Cha Eun Woo, Moon Bin, MJ, Jinjin, Rocky, and Yoon San Ha. Their name ASTRO symbolizes the members’ wishes to dream together with everyone who loves them, and to become bright stars. 

ASTRO is currently in the midst of promoting their debut title song, “HIDE & SEEK.”
