EXID's Hani in Talks to Make Her Acting Debut

EXID‘s Hani may be making her acting debut.

On March 11, Hani’s side responded to reports that she had been cast in upcoming KBS 2TV sitcom “The Sound of Your Heart.”

“It is true that Hani recently had a meeting with ‘The Sound of Your Heart’ writers, but nothing has been confirmed in regard to her casting,” Hani’s agency wrote in an official press release.

Hani is being considered for the role of main character Cho Seok’s girlfriend, Choi Sang Bong, also known as “Ae Bong,” whom Cho Seok marries after seven years of dating. If Hani signs on, “The Sound of Your Heart” will mark her acting debut.

Meanwhile, “The Sound of Your Heart” is a sitcom based on the hit webtoon of the same name written and illustrated by cartoonist Cho Seok.

Started in September of 2006, “The Sound of Your Heart” is the longest running webtoon in South Korea and has attracted a global following.
