Teen Top's Chunji and Rainbow's Seung Ah Cast in New Musical

Teen Top’s Chunji and Rainbow member Seung Ah have both been casted for roles in an upcoming musical!

Both Chunji and Seung Ah confirmed their participation in the musical “Russian Coffee,” which opens in June. Chunji will play the role of Ivan, while Seung Ah is slated to play the role of Tanya. The two will stand onstage alongside veteran musical actors Lee Woo Jung, Lee Ji Yoo, Kim Ji Young, and many more.

“Russian Coffee” is based on the 2009 novel by the same name, and is inspired by the real assassination attempt on Emperor Gojong in the 1890s. The novel’s author, Kim Tak Hwan, also wrote works that later were turned into films and dramas, such as “Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island” and “The Immortal Lee Sun Shin.”

Meanwhile, Seung Ah made her musical debut in 2013 with “Grease!”, while Chunji made his musical debut with “Caffeine” in 2014. “Russian Coffee” runs from June 7 through July 24.
