Jung Woo Sung Updates Fans On His Status After News of the Fraud Case

On March 20, actor Jung Woo Sung connected with his fans via his Facebook. To celebrate the first year anniversary of his official Facebook page, he appeared in realtime and kept his promise with his fans.

Many of his fans showed concern for the fraud case which was reported earlier in the media. He commented, “It’s okay. It was an unfortunate incident, but I’ve overcome it. I’m okay. I’m working hard on my career and doing well.”

Recently, news of the actor being one of the victims of a fraud case was publicized belatedly. He had invested some money with a famous broadcast writer “Park” and suffered financial losses due to fraud. Jung Woo Sung’s agency addressed the issue saying, “It’s true that he was the victim of a fraud case. He was hurt financially and psychologically by someone he trusted. Some time has passed since it happened so Jung Woo Sung doesn’t want to be hurt even more by pursuing a lawsuit. Thus, he will not be taking further legal actions.”

During the realtime broadcast, Jung Woo Sung explained what he was doing that day. He said, “I arrived at the film location in the country in order to film for the upcoming movie, ‘The King.’ I came to my room to say hello to you all first.”

Jung Woo Sung continued, “I opened up my Facebook page in order to get closer to you all and to communicate with you better. But I’m not sure if I’m doing a good job. I want to keep you guys up to date on what I’m doing, but I can’t take pictures on location while I’m filming due to certain restrictions so I couldn’t post often.”

Lastly, he expressed his appreciation by saying, “From now on, I will do my best to think about other ways to communicate with you and try to do better and updating you as well. I’m always grateful for your encouragement.”

Jung Woo Sung is currently filming for the movie, “The King,” with actor Jo In Sung. “The King” is a crime, action film about the fight for survival between men of power who controlled Korea and a man who wanted to become the king of the world. The film is slated to open in Korean theaters towards the end of the year.
