Kim Sejung Responds to Jung Joon Young’s Fanboying on “Produce 101”
On the March 25 episode of Mnet’s “Produce 101,” Jellyfish Entertainment trainee Kim Sejung responded to rock singer Jung Joon Young’s fanboy comments.
The “Produce 101” held a “We Want to Know” segment where the trainees would ask each other questions. Kim Sejung was asked, “Jung Joon Young sunbaenim said he wanted to go to Hawaii with you. What do you think?”
On March 17, Jung Joon Young had appeared on “Happy Together” with his fellow “2 Days & 1 Night” members. On the show, he had declared himself a fan of the Jellyfish trainee and blamed member Kim Jun Ho, who was always watching her fancams.
When the production staff asked him what he wanted, Jung Joon Young said, “I want to go on a trip with her to Hawaii.”
In response to the request, Kim Sejung said, “I’m grateful to Jung Joon Young sunbaenim. I’d like to sing a duet with him sometime.”
