Yoo Hee Yeol’s First “Disciple” Sam Kim Releases Tracklist for Upcoming Debut

After having announced earlier this month that “K-Pop Star Season 3” runner-up Sam Kim would be making his official debut on March 28, the singer-songwriter has dropped a new teaser image.

The eighteen-year-old is referred to as Yoo Hee Yeol’s “disciple” as he joined his music label Antenna after his appearance on the audition program in 2013.

The first part of his debut album is titled “My Name Is Sam” and it will drop on March 28. Sam Kim produced and wrote the lyrics for all the songs himself, and even recorded his own guitar accompaniment.

The first song is titled “Mama Don’t Worry.” Yoo Hee Yeol said about the track, “Since it’s a song that contains Sam Kim’s most heartfelt feelings, he wanted to show it to his mother first.”

The second song, “Seattle,” contains lyrics written by Sam Kim and his mentor, Yoo Hee Yeol (as well as lyricist Kim Lee Na).
