Sam Kim Comforts Moms Everywhere With Debut Music Video “Mama Don’t Worry”

“K-Pop Star 3” runner-up Sam Kim has finally made his debut! On March 28 at midnight KST, Sam Kim released the first part of his debut album, “My Name Is Sam.”

The lyrics of his title track, “Mama Don’t Worry,” comfort a mother who is worried about her son, who doesn’t contact her as often as he should. The song is very personal for Sam Kim, who left his family in the United States behind to pursue a music career in Korea.

The music video and the song strips it down to the basics, pairing the singer-songwriter’s warm voice with soothing guitar music. Yoo Hee Yeol, Sam Kim’s mentor at his label Antenna Music, makes an appearance in the video as well.
