Comedienne Jung Juri Talks About Returning to Work After Maternity Leave

Comedienne Jung Juri talks about having to return to work only 40 days after giving birth. 

The March 29 episode of tvN’s “Taxi” featured comedienne Jung Ju Ri, actress Lee Se Young, and pop artist Nancy Lang. This episode was titled “Women with beautiful rear view, spring special.”

On the show, Jung Juri explained why she returned to work so soon after giving birth to her baby. She commented, “My friends were worried because I came back to work so soon.”

She continued, “I got anxious. While I took some time off, my friends all became very successful. Comediennes Lee Guk Joo, Park Na Rae, and Jang Do Yeon are all my friends.”

Jung Juri went on to explain, “While I was in the beginning stage of my pregnancy, Lee Guk Joo made enough money to purchase a building. While I was preparing to go into labor, Park Na Rae and Jang Do Yeon became very successful. Park Na Rae even paid off her loans. In the meantime, I piled on more debt.”

tvN’s variety show “Taxi” airs every Tuesday at 8:40 p.m. KST.
