Filming for "Hwarang: The Beginning" Kicks Off

Filming for KBS 2TV’s “Hwarang: The Beginning” has finally kicked off.

On March 31, the drama representative confirmed to Star News that filming started that day.

“Hwarang: The Beginning” is a youth drama that tells the story of Hwarangs’ passion, love, and growth in the capital of Silla. Young and rising stars such as Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, Go Ara, Minho, and BTS‘s V have been casted.

“There is a slight difference among actors regarding their starting date for filming,” the representative said. “Because it is 100 percent filmed beforehand, the actual air date will be in the latter half of the year, but we are starting filming now.”

Meanwhile, the details for the airing of “Hwarang: The Beginning” has yet to be announced.
