I.O.I Members Vote for Title Song and Tracks in Their New Album

“Produce 101” girl group I.O.I will be voting to pick their title song.

Previously, they also voted to pick the leader of the group, which turned out to be Im Nayoung. Since they are a group that was formed by votes, the group has decided to make every decision by voting.

Not only will they vote on what the title song of their first album might be, but they will vote on which songs will be included in the album as well. Currently, I.O.I has received around 30 songs from famous producers such as Duble Sidekick.

YMC affiliates stated, “We are playing the songs for the members without revealing the producers’ names so that there is no bias. We are also telling the girls, ‘Don’t think about the songs you personally like. Think of songs that will match the team.”

They continued, “The I.O.I members came up with the fairest way to make decisions. We will continue to make decisions by asking the members and letting them choose for themselves.”

Meanwhile, I.O.I also got a dorm in Gangnam. They started moving into their new dormitory on April 7.
