Super Junior's Ryeowook to Step Down From His Radio Show

In the last few months leading up to his enlistment, Super Junior’s Ryeowook has decided to step down from his DJ chair at his radio show.

Ryeowook announced his decision to step down from the KBS Cool FM radio show “Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio” on the April 8 broadcast of the show, citing the desire to spend more time with his parents and family before his enlistment. Ryeowook shed tears while making the announcement, saying how difficult it was to come to the decision and how much he wants to continue doing the show with his listeners. His last day on the show will be April 24.

Ryeowook started as a DJ for the show in 2011 alongside fellow member Sungmin, and took over as the sole DJ on Sungmin’s departure in early 2013. Leeteuk will take over for him after his departure.

Meanwhile, Ryeowook will enlist on June 14, where he will receive five weeks of basic training before serving as an active duty soldier for 21 months.
