VIXX Is Not Worried About BTS and SEVENTEEN's Overlapping Promotions

VIXX has shared their honest thoughts on having overlapping album promotions with BTS and SEVENTEEN, as well as many other boy groups.

On April 19, VIXX held the showcase for their fifth single album “ZELOS” at Lotte Card Art Center in Seoul.

During the showcase, Ken was asked to explain about his friendship with BTS’ Jin. “Not only me but also other VIXX members have friends in BTS,” he shared about the two groups’ close ties.

Regarding the ongoing boy group comeback rush, he said, “I don’t see it as a battle. Rather, I’d like to see all of us pursuing different styles and achieving positive results,” and emphasized once more, “I haven’t thought of it as a face-off.”

“I think we’ll later look back at this time together, smiling and thinking, ‘We used to promote and compete with these guys,” Hyuk added.

Finally, N revealed how they are genuinely excited for both groups’ comebacks. “We also enjoy watching talented groups. BTS and SEVENTEEN are remarkably cool. We’re looking forward to seeing the amazing stages of groups promoting at the same time as us.”

Meanwhile, the music video for VIXX’s new title track “Dynamite” will drop on April 20.
