Jellyfish Entertainment Clarifies Plans for New Girl Group

Jellyfish Entertainment has addressed reports claiming that “Produce 101” trainees Kim Sejung and Kang Mina are set to debut as members of their new girl group.

On April 20, a local news outlet reported that Kim Sejung and Kang Mina will be joining Jellyfish’s new girl group expected to debut later this year. According to the report, trainee Kim Nayoung is also in talks to become one of the members.

Regarding such rumors, Jellyfish Entertainment stated, “It’s been years since we launched preparations for the girl group. ‘Produce 101’ contestants Kim Sejung, Kang Mina, and Kim Nayoung are just some of our many trainees. The girl group’s debut schedule and member line-up have all yet to be decided,” suggesting that fans will have to wait a little longer for an official debut announcement.

Meanwhile, Kim Sejung and Kang Mina are currently promoting as members of I.O.I.
