Lee Young Ae Warms Hearts With Yet Another Generous Donation

Actress Lee Young Ae is once again inspiring warm feelings with her good deeds.

On April 25, according to the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Lee Young Ae donated 60 million won (approximately $52,100) to the Ecuador earthquake relief fund.

After the devastating earthquake in Ecuador, which caused at least 10 thousand casualties among other losses, her donation will be used to help support the citizens of Ecuador with essential goods.

According to KOICA, Lee Young Ae revealed that she wanted to send support to Ecuador for the damages caused by the earthquake, after receiving a KOICA special envoy request.

KOICA added that the actress’s donation funds will be transferred to the Embassy of Ecuador in the Republic of Korea and is expected to be used for the support of local relief goods.

Meanwhile, Lee Young Ae made other donations in the past as well. Last March, she felt touched by a Vietnamese child’s story and expressed that she, “truly wanted to help.” The child needed money for a surgery to remove a brain tumor and the actress not only paid for the surgery, but also shouldered the burden of the resulting hospital bills as well. The child regained health thanks to the actress’s kind act.
