TWICE Takes Over Asian iTunes Charts With New Album
JYP Entertainment’s girl group TWICE is not only sweeping domestic music charts, but also dominating iTunes charts all over Asia.
TWICE’s second mini album “Page Two” dropped on April 25 at midnight KST. Within 48 hours since its release, the album claimed the top spot on the iTunes K-Pop Album Charts in Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. It also places first on the Main Album Chart of iTunes Hong Kong.
Additionally, the title track “Cheer Up” entered the Top 5 of K-Pop Single Charts in the United States, Macao, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Meanwhile, the music video for “Cheer Up” surpassed five million views in less than 48 hours, proving TWICE’s massive popularity.
