TWICE Thanks Fans For Their First Ever Music Show Win

The girls of TWICE snagged their first ever music show win on the May 5 broadcast of “M!Countdown,” and they wanted to take the time to thank their fans for the victory.

TWICE held a special broadcast via the Naver V App, where they expressed their gratitude to their fans for their win again Jung Eun Ji, who was also up for the win this week. Jihyo said, “We all started one year ago on ‘SIXTEEN,’ and today we are so thankful to have received this meaningful trophy. We sang the song given to us as best we could, and done everything asked of us. Without the help of everyone along the way, this win wouldn’t have been possible.”

Jeongyeon said, “Thank you for the first place win. We understand that with it, we have to keep working hard.” Dahyun added, “Tomorrow marks 200 days since we debuted. TWICE will continue to do our best in the future.”

The group celebrated with a cake, bowing to the camera in thanks. TWICE also extended a word of congratulations to I.O.I member Jeon Somi on her recent debut.
