I.O.I's Jung Chaeyeon Shows Her Thoughtful Handwritten Letter For Parents' Day

I.O.I’s Jung Chaeyeon recently showed her sweet gesture towards her parents for Parents’ Day, a Korean holiday where people show their thanks to and love for their parents.

On the morning of May 8, Jung Chaeyeon posted a photo of a pretty handwritten letter addressed to her parents. In another photo she appears looking simple and elegant as she holds a bouquet of carnations, the flower traditionally given to parents on Parents’ Day.

The letter is beautifully written and heartfelt. In it, Jung Chaeyeon expresses her sorrow towards her parents that she is too busy to contact them regularly and thanks them for giving her strength. She also thanks the parents of her fellow I.O.I members for raising the members of I.O.I well and for treating her as their own daughter.
