"Lucky Romance" Hints Ryu Jun Yeol and Hwang Jung Eum's Rough First Encounter

“Lucky Romance” has released some new preview stills hinting Hwang Jung Eum and Ryu Jun Yeol’s first encounter!

In the photos, Ryu Jun Yeol is wearing a pair of sunglasses and is making a fancy entrance to the casino. Hwang Jung Eum is wearing a gold dress, working part-time as a server.

However, there is a twist. Ryu Jun Yeol ends up getting soaked in waste water and Hwang Jung Eum is now a cleaning lady. She looks as if she’s searching for someone or something, and it’s making the viewers curious even more.

This scene was filmed in mid-April. It’s the first scene where Shim Bo Nui (Hwang Jung Eum), a diligent part-time worker, and Je Su Ho (Ryu Jun Yeol), a CEO of a game company, meet for the first time. It is also the first scene of the first episode.

The staff on set were reportedly very satisfied with the actors’ skills, saying, “Their chemistry shows that our luck has bloomed just like the theme of the drama.”

The production company of the drama stated, “Their teamwork is way better than we’d expected. Please look forward to their rough yet romantic journey ahead of them.”

Meanwhile, “Lucky Romance” is based off a webtoon of the same name dealing with a girl obsessed with superstitions and a guy obsessed with science. It will air its first episode on May 25.
