Yeo Jin Goo Considering Epic Role Alongside Lee Jung Jae In Historical Film
Recent reports claimed that actor Yeo Jin Goo would be joining the cast of the film “Opposition Force” (tentative title).
However, the actor’s agency refuted these claims and revealed that the actor has only received the script for the film and is looking over it favorably.
If the young actor confirms his casting, he would act as King Gwanghae while Lee Jung Jae has already been confirmed to play the king’s warrior escort.
“Opposition Force” aims to tell the story of how King Gwanghae must fight unsupported after becoming the heir to the throne during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. Director Jung Yoon Chul will be leading the film and filming is expected to start in August.
Meanwhile, Yeo Jin Goo can currently been seen acting in SBS’s “Jackpot.”
