"Show Me The Money 5" Records Highest-Ever Rating With First Episode

“Show Me The Money 5” is starting out the season with a bang.

According to multimedia ratings analysis company Nielsen Korea on May 14, “Show Me The Money 5” recorded a 1.8 percent in viewer ratings.

This surpasses the record set by the show last season, 1.548 percent, which was itself a step up from the previous season, “Show Me the Money 3,” which maxed out at 1.436 percent in viewer ratings.

The contestant line-up for this season seems to be driving the increase in viewership, from dark horse contestant Jung Joon Ha to contestants who were eliminated in past seasons including BeWhy, One, and Seo Chulgu.
