EXO's Lay Makes 10-Year Donation Pledge To Alma Mater

EXO member Lay is paying it forward to his alma mater.

According to a Sina Entertainment report on May 13, Lay has made a pledge to consistently donate over 10 years to his old middle school in Hunan. The money will go towards scholarships to students who are aspiring to careers in the arts.

Lay has reportedly pledged to give a generous sum of 100,000 CNY (approximately $15,308 USD) per year.

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment set up an individual workshop for Lay last year to help him with his activities in China. With the establishment of the workshop, Lay has been keeping himself busy with dramas, films, and variety shows in China. He is slated to make a comeback with EXO in June.
